George Small (American football)

George Michael Small (born November 18, 1956) is a college football coach and former NFL player. He is currently the associate head coach and defensive line coach at Florida A&M University, a position he has held since 2008. Small served as the head football coach at Kentucky State University from 1995 to 2000 and at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 2003 to 2005, compiling a career college football record of 49–53.
==Coaching career==
Small was the 25th head football coach for the Kentucky State University located in Frankfort, Kentucky and he held that position for six seasons, from 1995 until 2000. His career coaching record at Kentucky State was 33 wins, 34 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him third at Kentucky State in total wins and 11th at Kentucky State in winning percentage.
Small went on to serve as head football coach at his alma mater from 2003 to 2005. He led the Aggies
to the Division 1-AA (now Football Championship Subdivision) Playoffs in the 2003 season.
His record at NC A&T was 16 wins, 19 losses.
